Item 8.01. Other Events.
On April 26, 2012 RBC Bearings Incorporated (the “Company”) announced that it has received approximately $3.6 million in distribution payments under the U.S. Continued Dumping and Subsidy Offset Act (CDSOA) relating to claims filed by the Company during the past six years and that the entire $3.6 million in distributions will be recorded in the first quarter of fiscal 2013. A copy of the press release announcing the receipt of the distribution payments is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference herein.
