On April 24, 2012, Berkshire Hills Bancorp, Inc. (“BHLB”), the holding company for Berkshire Bank, announced its financial results for the period ended March 31, 2012. The news release containing the financial result is included as Exhibit 99.1 and shall not be deemed “filed” for any purpose.

On April 24, 2012, BHLB announced a cash dividend of $0.17 per share to stockholders of record as of the close of business on May 10, 2012, payable on May 24, 2012.
