Item 5.02 Departure of Directors of Certain Officers
On April 19, 2012, Cypress Semiconductor Corporation issued a press release announcing the resignation of Norm Taffe, executive vice president of the Company’s Consumer and Computation Division (CCD). Mr. Taffe will be replaced by Cathal Phelan, the Company’s Chief Technical Officer. The press release detailing the management change is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1.
