Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On April 12, 2012, Tenet Healthcare Corporation (the “Company”) announced that it expects to record a gain in the first quarter of 2012 due to an industry-wide settlement with the United States Department of Health and Human Services (“HHS”) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. A copy of the press release is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
