Effective March 16, 2012, the day following the effectiveness of the resignation of the Chief Financial Officer of Panera Bread Company (the “Company”), Mark Wooldridge, age 37, the Company's Vice President of Accounting, Associate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer, began temporarily performing the functions similar to those of a principal financial officer. Mr. Wooldridge has held various senior finance positions with the Company since August, 2006. Mr. Wooldridge will perform these functions until such time as the Company appoints an interim or permanent Chief Financial Officer.
