On March 9, 2012, LaSalle Hotel Properties (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the Company’s acquisition of the Hotel Palomar, Washington DC for $143.8 million in an off-market transaction. A copy of such press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.

The Company acquired the Hotel Palomar, Washington, DC for $143.8 million in an off-market transaction. The purchase was funded with proceeds from the Company’s ATM program and borrowings under the Company’s senior unsecured credit facility. The 335-room urban, full service hotel is located near Dupont Circle at 2121 P Street, NW in Washington, DC.
