This Form 8-K/A amends a Form 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the SEC) on January 6, 2012 (the Original Form 8-K), to change the effective date of Earl W. Baucom's retirement from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston (the Bank) from the end of March 2012, to May 15, 2012. On January 5, 2012, Mr. Baucom, executive vice president and chief operations officer of the Bank, announced his plans to retire effective at the end of March 2012, which the Bank reported via the Original Form 8-K. The Bank's Form 10-K filed with the SEC on March 18, 2011, identifies Mr. Baucom as one of the Bank's “named executive officers.” On February 27, 2012, Mr. Baucom and the Bank agreed to make Mr. Baucom's retirement effective on May 15, 2012.
