Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On February 21, 2012, Furiex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. issued a press release announcing its financial and operating results for the quarter and year ended December 31, 2011. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein in its entirety by reference.
