Explanatory Note
This Amendment No. 1 on Form 8-K/A is being filed solely to amend the omission of content from the original Form 8-K filed on February 9, 2012 in which the entire text of the report was inadvertently omitted from the filing on EDGAR due to a technical error.
This Amendment No. 1 on Form 8-K/A is being filed for the sole purpose of correcting this omission, and speaks as of the original filing date, and except as indicated, has not been updated to reflect events occurring subsequent to the original filing date.

On February 9, 2012, Inland Real Estate Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2011. A copy of the supplemental financial information for the three and twelve months ended December 31, 2011 referenced in the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.2 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein solely for purposes of this Item 2.02 and Item 7.01 disclosure.
