Item 8.01. Other Events.
On February 7, 2012, Earthstone Energy, Inc. issued a press release announcing new information on its horizontal Ratcliffe project, as set forth in the press release attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
The press release announces the progress on drilling of a new horizontal Ratcliffe well and the workover plan to improve production on a recently acquired vertical Ratcliffe oil well.
