On January 25, 2012, PartnerRe Ltd. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that during the January 1, 2012 treaty renewal season it expects to write and bind approximately $1.9 billion of Non-Life treaty premium. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and is hereby incorporated by reference into this Item 8.01.
