Item 8.01 Other Events.
Mr. Christopher G. Tietz, Corporate Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of First Place Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of First Place Financial Corp., has submitted his resignation, which takes effect January 30, 2012. Mr. Tietz plans to pursue another opportunity. A formal search to fill the Chief Credit Officer position is currently underway.
