Item 8.01 Other Events.
On January 4, 2012, Trinity Structural Towers, Inc. ("TSTI"), a subsidiary of Trinity Industries, Inc., announced that it filed a breach of contract law suit against Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation for failure to comply with its purchasing obligations for structural wind towers from TSTI pursuant to the 2008 Supply Agreement between the two companies.
A copy of the news release announcing the law suit is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
