Item 8.01. Other Events.
On January 5, 2012, Career Education Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release to announce that it had filled two key leadership vacancies, appointing executives to lead its Health Education and Art & Design groups. Erik Parks has been named Senior Vice President of the Art & Design Education Group and Jason Friesen has been named Senior Vice President of the Health Education Group.
