On December 29, 2011, Stein Mart, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that, after filing its third quarter Form 10-Q on December 22, 2011, NASDAQ informed the Company that it is back in compliance with NASDAQ Listing Rule 5250(c)(1). A copy of the press release is included as Exhibit 99.1.
