Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure
On January 3, 2012, Benihana Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors has authorized and declared a quarterly dividend in the amount of $0.08 per share of the Company’s common stock. The dividend is payable in cash on January 30, 2012 to stockholders of record at the close of business on January 13, 2012. The Company’s press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
