Item 8.01 Other Events.
On December 27, 2011, AT&T Inc. (AT&T) announced that it had completed its acquisition of wireless spectrum from Qualcomm. AT&T purchased 700 MHz spectrum licenses covering more than 300 million people for approximately $1.9 billion.
