Item 8.01 Other Events
On December 15, 2011, Domtar Corporation (the “Corporation”) issued a press release announcing that the Corporation’s Board of Directors raised the amount authorized under the share buyback program to up to $1 billion of the Corporation’s common stock. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.
