Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers
(b) Craig A. Lang has resigned as Director and Chairman of the Board of FBL Financial Group, Inc. effective December 9, 2011.
(c) FBL Financial Group, Inc. has announced that Craig D. Hill has been named Chairman of the Board effective December 13, 2011.
Mr. Hill is President of the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation. He was first elected to the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation board in 1989 and served as its Vice President from 2001 to 2011. He has been a Class B Director since 2007 and previously served on the board of Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company, and also serves on the boards of Farm Bureau Property & Casualty Insurance Company, Western Agricultural Insurance Company and Rain & Hail LLC.
