ITEM 7.01 REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE

Gravity Concentration Test Results

Ireland Inc. (the “Company”) has received the results from the first bulk sample (~200 lb/90.8 Kg) gravity concentration test on material from the North Sand Zone, Columbus Project, Nevada. The results from this test are very encouraging as it produced a 35.5:1 concentrate grading 3.509 opt Au and 11.536 opt Ag. This equates to a gravity extracted head grade of 0.101 opt Au and 0.324 opt Ag. The concentrates were then leached with cyanide and thiosulphate. The gold and silver recovery rates of the head ore was +90% Au and ~20% Ag. The Company will be completing more gravity concentration tests as part of the optimization of the pilot plant flow sheet currently underway at the Columbus Project.

LD MICRO Conference Presentation

As previously announced, the Company will make a presentation at the Fourth Annual LD MICRO Conference at 8:00 am on December 8, 2011 in Los Angeles, CA. A copy of the presentation slides, which will be discussed during the presentation, are attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
