Item 8.01 Other Events.
On November 21, 2011, BKF Capital Group, Inc. (the "Company") hired Greg S. Heller to serve as the Company’s Senior Vice President. Mr. Heller’s responsibilities include the pursuit of BKF Capital’s corporate strategy to acquire companies that show growth characteristics at a reasonable valuation. BKF Capital Group, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release, on November 22, 2011, announcing that Greg Heller has joined the Company as Senior Vice President. A copy of the Company's press release is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1.
