On November 8, 2011, NeurogesX, Inc. (the “Company”), issued a press release entitled “NeurogesX Reports Positive Phase 2 Results for NGX-1998 for Treatment of Postherpetic Neuralgia” and held a teleconference to review these results. A copy of the press release and the presentation slides used during the conference call are filed as Exhibit 99.1 and 99.2, respectively, to this Form 8-K. The contents of the press release and the presentation slides are deemed to be filed for purposes of the Securities Exchanged Act of 1934, as amended.
