Item 8.01 Other Events
On November 3, 2011, Imperial Sugar Company issued a press release announcing the suspension of its regular quarterly dividend of $0.02 per common share until further notice, the sale of its 50% joint venture interest in Comercializadora Santos Imperial S. De R.L. de C.V. to its joint venture partner and the termination of all exclusive cross-border supply agreements with the joint venture partner.
