On October 26, 2011, New Western Energy Corporation issued a press release related to the execution of an operating agreement with Petroleum Energy Management Co. to oversee the its operations at its Phillips Lease, located in Rogers County, Oklahoma. A copy of the news release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
