On October 12, 2011, Aleris International, Inc. issued a press release announcing the extension of the offer to exchange up to $500,000,000 of its outstanding 7 5/8% Senior Notes due 2018 for up to $500,000,000 of its new 7 5/8% Senior Notes due 2018 that have been registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended. A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated by reference herein.
