Item 8.01 Other Events.
On October 11, 2011, Kaiser Aluminum Corporation announced that its board of directors declared a quarterly cash dividend on its common stock of $0.24 per share. The dividend will be payable on November 15, 2011 to stockholders of record as of the close of business on October 25, 2011. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
