Eagle Rock Energy Partners, L.P. (“Partnership”) issued a press release today announcing that Mr. L. Patrick Giroir Jr., who serves as Senior Vice President, Midstream Business of Eagle Rock Energy G&P, LLC, which is the general partner of Eagle Rock Energy GP, L.P., which is the general partner of Partnership, has tendered his resignation.  Eagle Rock Energy G&P, LLC accepted his resignation today.  A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.

Other Events
 

Eagle Rock Energy Partners, L.P. (“Partnership”) announced today that Mr. L. Patrick Giroir Jr., who serves as Senior Vice President, Midstream Business of Eagle Rock Energy G&P, LLC, which is the general partner of Eagle Rock Energy GP, L.P., which is the general partner of Partnership, has tendered his resignation.  Eagle Rock Energy G&P, LLC accepted his resignation today.  
 
Eagle Rock is in the process of identifying candidates to succeed Mr. Giroir. In the interim, the Midstream Business’s divisional heads will report directly to Mr. Joseph A. Mills, Chief Executive Officer.
