Item 8.01. Other Events.
On September 30, 2011, Quicksilver Resources Inc. issued a press release announcing that the holders of its 1.875% Convertible Subordinated Debentures due 2024 have the option to require Quicksilver to repurchase on November 1, 2011 all or any part of such holder’s notes. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
