Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
Effective September 14, 2011, Alan H. Koblin has moved from his position as President of Silgan Plastics to a position with the Company’s Corporate Development team. Adam J. Greenlee, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company, will assume the duties of President of Silgan Plastics during the interim as the Company conducts a search for a new President of Silgan Plastics.
