The following information is furnished pursuant to Item 8.01, “Other Events.”
On September 1, 2011, Electro Rent Corporation issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.20 per common share. The dividend will be paid on October 10, 2011 to shareholders of record as of September 20, 2011.
A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
