On August 8, 2011, Sensient Technologies Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company would resume active consideration of share repurchases as part of its financial strategy. The Company has an existing authorization to repurchase up to 3.0 million of its shares. A copy of the Company’s press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
