Other Events.
|
On July 29, 2011, China Automotive Systems, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it has regained full compliance for continued listing on the Nasdaq Stock Market (“Nasdaq”). CAAS received a letter from Nasdaq on July 26, 2011 notifying the Company that, with the July 22, 2011 filing of the Company’s Form 10-Q for the period ended March 31, 2011, Nasdaq has determined that the Company has regained compliance with Listing Rule 5250(c)(1), which requires the timely filing of periodic reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission. A copy of the Company’s press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this current report on Form 8-K.
