On June 16, 2011, Ampio Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (“Ampio” or the “Company”) announced treatment of the first patient in the three-arm, placebo controlled, 60 patient Phase 1b Ampion-In-Knee (AIK) trial in Australia. A copy of the news release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and is incorporated herein by reference.
