Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On June 23, 2011, Validus Holdings, Ltd. issued a press release disclosing its initial estimate of combined losses from two severe storms in the United States which took place during April, 2011 and May, 2011, respectively. The full text of the press release is being furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
