Nuance Communications, Inc. is seeking to amend its existing credit facility to, among other
things, amend certain terms and conditions of the credit facility and extend the maturity of a
portion of the term loans and revolving loans made thereunder. Nuance expects to complete the
amend and extend transaction in July 2011, subject to meeting customary conditions and obtaining
approval of the requisite lenders.
