Submission of Matters to a Vote of Security Holders

On June 15, 2011, Applied Minerals, Inc. (the “Company”) held its 2011 Annual Meeting of Shareholders (the “Meeting”) at Grand Hyatt New York (New York, N.Y.), which was simultaneously webcast at www.virtualshareholdermeeting.com/AMNL2011.  The final voting results for each of the proposals submitted to a vote of security holders at the Meeting are set forth below.

Proposal 1. The election of four members to the board of directors, each to serve until the next annual meeting of shareholders or until their successors are elected and qualified.
