Item 8.01. Other Events
On June 15, 2011, Protalix BioTherapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that Brazil’s National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) has completed a successful GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) audit of the Company's manufacturing facility in Carmiel, Israel, and determined that the facility is acceptable. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
