On June 3, 2011, Encore Bancshares, Inc. (the “Company”) was notified by L. Anderson Creel, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Company and its subsidiary, Encore Bank, N.A. (the “Bank”), that he intended to retire from those positions at the Company and the Bank effective December 31, 2011. The Company will immediately begin a search for a replacement for Mr. Creel.
