Item 5.07 Submission of Matters to a Vote of Security Holders.
Highlands Bankshares, Inc. (the “Company”) held its Annual Meeting of Shareholders on May 11, 2011 (the “Annual Meeting”). At the Annual Meeting, the shareholders of the Company elected nine directors to serve for one-year terms and ratified the Company’s appointment of Brown, Edwards & Company, LLP as the Company’s independent auditors for 2011.
