On May 2, 2011, G. Ross McDonald was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Golden Queen Mining Co. Ltd.
From 2005 to present, Mr. McDonald has been a chartered accountant with the firm of Smythe Ratcliffe, LLP, Chartered Accountants. From 1984 to 2005 he maintained his own accounting firm, G. Ross McDonald, Chartered Accountant. Mr. McDonald has acted as a director or officer of a number of reporting and non-reporting companies. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia, and since 1968 has been a member of the British Columbia Institute of Chartered Accountants. Mr. McDonald is 72 years of age.
