Item 8.01. Other Events.
On May 10, 2011, MercadoLibre, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.08 per share for the second quarter of 2011, payable to holders of the Company's common stock. This quarterly cash dividend will be paid on July 15, 2011 to stockholders of record as of the close of business on June 30, 2011.
