Item 8.01. Other Events.
On May 4, 2011, Magnum Hunter Resources Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it had realigned members of its senior management team, naming divisional presidents for each of the Company's three primary areas of geographic operations: (i) the Williston Basin, (ii) the Appalachian Basin and (iii) the Eagle Ford Shale of Central and South Texas. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference herein.
