On
February 14, 2011, Apache Corporation (the “Company”) filed a Current Report on Form 8-K under
Item 5.02 disclosing that Messrs. Scott Josey and Chansoo Joung were elected to the Company’s Board
of Directors (the “Board”). At the time of filing, the Board had not yet determined the committee
on which Messrs. Josey and Joung would serve.
The
Company is filing this Current Report on Form 8-K/A to disclose that,
on May 5, 2011 and effective on that date,
the Board appointed Mr. Josey to the Executive Committee of the Company’s Board and Mr. Joung to
the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee of the Company’s Board.
