Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On May 5, 2011, Gastar Exploration Ltd. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the Company’s financial results for the three months ended March 31, 2011. A copy of the Company’s press release, dated May 5, 2011, is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
