Item 8.01 Other Events.
On April 12, 2011, Entergy Mississippi, Inc. (the “Company”) entered into an Underwriting Agreement for the sale of $150,000,000 aggregate principal amount of its First Mortgage Bonds, 6.0% Series due May 1, 2051 (the “Bonds”). The sale of the Bonds closed on April 15, 2011. The Bonds were registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, by means of the Company’s Post-Effective Amendment No. 2 to the automatic shelf Registration Statement on Form S-3 (File No. 333-169315-07), which became effective upon filing on March 4, 2011.
