Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On April 11, 2011, Chesapeake Energy Corporation (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that it provides full disclosure of chemicals used in the hydraulic fracture well completion process through a national publicly accessible registry. A copy of this press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report.
On April 12, 2011, the Company issued a press release announcing the adoption of formal operating principles to further protect the environment and promote increased safe and responsible exploration and production performance. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.2 to this Current Report.
