On April 11, 2011, Sun River Energy, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company has taken its first steps toward monetizing its hard minerals located in New Mexico by entering into a consulting contract with MBN Consulting, LLC, a Florida Limited Liability Company (“MBN”). The full text of the press release is attached herewith as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
