Item 8.01. Other Events.
On April 5, 2011, Harris & Harris Group, Inc. (the “Company”) announced it invested $2 million yesterday in Champions Oncology, Inc., formerly known as Champions Biotechnology, Inc. (OTC: CSBR) (“Champions”) as part of a private placement of 12.5 million shares of its common stock at a price of $0.75 per share, resulting in gross proceeds to Champions of $9.4 million.
The Company’s press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
