ITEM 8.01 OTHER EVENTS ICSID TRIBUNAL ISSUES DECISION DISMISSING COMPANY'S CLAIMS BASED ON THE GOVERNMENT OF EL SALVADOR'S PRELIMINARY OBJECTION On March 14, 2011, the Tribunal at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes ("ICSID") hearing Commerce Group Corp.'s (the "Company") and its affiliate San Sebastian Gold Mines, Inc.'s arbitration with the Government of El Salvador ("GOES") issued a decision dismissing the Company's claims based on GOES's Preliminary Objection. A full text of the decision will be posted on the Company's website (www.commercegroupcorp.com). For additional information about the Company's claims against the Government of El Salvador, reference is made to the Company's 8-Ks that were filed with the SEC on March 18, 2009, July 2, 2009, July 2, 2010, August 19, 2010 and September 17, 2010.
