On March 10, 2011, Alon USA Energy, Inc. (“Alon”), the parent company of Alon Refining Krotz
Springs, Inc. (the “Company”), issued a press release reporting its financial results for the
quarter and year ended December 31, 2010, which includes information with respect to the Company.
